NITETIME.NET THE KNOWN UNIVERSE

A map of
our worlds.

A conventional directory of public destinations and documented network machines. Public status data appears only where a real read-only source is connected. Unconnected machines are listed without implied current activity.

PUBLIC DESTINATIONS

The 3D atlas groups services by the homepage’s editorial role and introduces them in its section order. External destinations such as the Printful shop and SoundCloud catalog are clearly identified.

DOCUMENTED MACHINES & SHARED SYSTEMS

VPS GATEWAYPublic server. Its display reports only approved, sanitized public checks.
LEGACY OWNCAST BACKENDSeparate supporting video service; its read-only status is not the Kick broadcast status. The live.nitetime.net page displays Kick.
WORKSTATIONBroadcast source. The map shows only aggregate on-demand radio source and listener counters, not a workstation heartbeat.
ORGAN PRODUCTION NODESeparate MIDI and music-production role. No live activity telemetry.
BOXEYOffline production node. No live activity telemetry.
LAPPYDesignated laptop role; system and connection remain unverified.
NITETIME-RAMGit-backed shared operational memory for verified documentation, node messages, status reports, and requests. Static paths show documented participation only; it is not a real-time command, audio, or telemetry bus.
OPERATOR LAPTOPAccess role, not a separately monitored node.
MISS STARLIGHTIllustrative fictional tour guide, not an operational AI agent.

THE BROADCAST SIGNAL PATH

WORKSTATION → ORGAN / MIDISaved MIDI travels from the workstation through its USB MIDI interface to the physical organ. Documented path; not a live connection status.
ORGAN → WORKSTATION / AUDIOOrgan audio enters the Yamaha MG-XU audio input and returns to the workstation through USB capture for PipeWire and OBS. Documented path; no audio meter is exposed here.
WORKSTATION → KICK / PROGRAMOBS on the workstation produces the audiovisual program and sends it to the public Kick channel.
WORKSTATION → VPS / RADIO SOURCEWhile listeners are connected, the workstation sends one authenticated MP3 feed from the OBS Mic/Aux program mix to the VPS radio gateway.
VPS → RADIO LISTENERS / AUDIOThe gateway measures active open radio streams and MP3 payload bytes delivered. The displayed count is connections, not unique people; no identities or locations are collected.

HOW TO READ CONNECTIONS

PUBLIC NAVIGATIONA link or embedded destination documented on the live homepage.
CONTENT FLOWA documented program or media route between systems.
SHARED INFRASTRUCTUREHosting or delivery infrastructure documented on the server.
CONTROL / AUTOMATIONA documented metadata or automation source. Radio metadata markers follow observed title changes; audio markers follow measured MP3 bytes from the live gateway.
CONCEPTUAL RELATIONSHIPAn illustrative grouping, never a claim of a technical integration.
